Enrollment

DayStay Social Club is an active aging activity center.  As such, it does not accept the following:

• Persons under the age of 18.

• Persons who are easily agitated or aggressive.

• Persons who are exit seeking.

• Persons who are at a risk for falls.

• Persons with unstable medical conditions.

• Persons who require one-to-one interaction.

• Persons who cannot participate in group activities.

• Persons who are unable to feed or toilet themselves.

• Persons who require mid-day medications.

Cost of Services

• The daily rate is $20 per person. 

• Couples may attend for $30 total per day.

Enrollment Procedure

• Interested individuals should call (828) 665-1575 to schedule a tour and in-take conversation.

• A visit by the participant is required.  This visit will allow the applicant to view the program and will help the staff determine the applicant’s needs and interests.

• During the visit, a DayStay staff member will discuss paperwork, expectations, as well as payment/possible financial assistance.  

• We will then set up a care schedule or place the applicant on a waiting list, if necessary.
